The Research Ethics Committee is an advisory body to the Faculty Board and the Dean on issues of compliance with the ethical norms of fundamental and clinical research in the field of natural sciences and health, the purpose of which is to ensure supervision and guidance of compliance with the ethical norms of research and clinical trials conducted within the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine and its structural units, including the School of Medicine; to ensure that all activities involving human involvement, animals and biological materials comply with established ethical standards; to ensure the development of policy and the issuance of recommendations on issues of ethical norms of research, education and clinical practice within the Faculty.
