The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine is one of the leading research units in the fields of natural sciences and medicine in Georgia and throughout the region.

The Faculty’s research units and teaching laboratories in genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, biophysics, and neuroscience are equipped with modern equipments, which support the development of practical and research skills and enhance graduates’ competitiveness in the job market.
The Faculty conducts advanced environmental and geological research and provides high-quality teaching by utilizing field research bases and a research vessel across various regions of Georgia.
