The Laboratory Safety Committee of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine is a collaborative group consisting of professors and researchers from Ilia State University.
The committee’s purpose is to oversee and ensure adherence to safety regulations in the research and training laboratories of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine. Its responsibilities include:
a) Conducting an annual review of laboratory safety instructions.
b) Planning and implementing measures to enhance laboratory safety.
c) Assessing the need for purchasing equipment or services to improve safety and communicating these needs to the faculty administration.
d) Periodically monitoring the safety conditions of the faculty’s training laboratories.
